Therapists are not all the same. After meeting with 4 other Therapists before Dianne, we did not know if there was much hope for actual help from therapy. With Dianne's wide and deep understanding of all of our issues, she was able to intently listen and offer several easy and impactful ideas for us to use personally and within our Family of 6 household. Her experience and professionalism is without a doubt a huge benefit for our sessions with her.

More about me
Licensing: LMFT Years in Practice: 43 State: Idaho
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed since 1981 and blessed in my journey to have been trusted enough to help others grow in their lives. I am a get to work type person and can be pretty direct in my approach in a what I hope is also a kind, understanding and caring approach. I believe in education, because knowledge is power and learning new skills to manage the bumps in the road of life is important. I try to see what might be most helpful for people based on their views and what they believe and their hopes and goals. I am well trained in trauma informed treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems and dialectical therapy. I believe those approaches provide both skills and understanding to help a person move forward when they seem to be stuck, which truly happens to us all. I look forward to seeing how we can partner to unstick you and help you move forward in this journey called life.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
