I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed since 1981 and blessed in my journey to have been trusted enough to help others grow in their lives. I am a get to work type person and can be pretty direct in my approach in a what I hope is also a kind, understanding and caring approach. I believe in education, because knowledge is power and learning new skills to manage the bumps in the road of life is important. I try to see what might be most helpful for people based on their views and what they believe and their hopes and goals. I am well trained in trauma informed treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems and dialectical therapy. I believe those approaches provide both skills and understanding to help a person move forward when they seem to be stuck, which truly happens to us all. I look forward to seeing how we can partner to unstick you and help you move forward in this journey called life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Dianne is the absolute best! Don’t know what I would do without her!
I really enjoy the experience so far. I feel very understood and look forward to building a therapy relationship in the future.
I thought Dianne was great , it’s the only time I’ve asked for help (I’m 72 ) & she made my experience vary comfortable, informative , & helpful ! She made my life doable! Thank you again Dianne
Dianne is very knowledgeable and professional. A+
So far I have a better perspective of why I do what I do.
Dianne has been the biggest blessing to me. For forty years I tried to find help through a variety of therapists and my own studies but until I found Dianne I was only able to gain knowledge without application or improvement. Dianne jump started me quickly with very helpful and useful knowledge and suggestions for research and practice. I can’t praise her enough and thank God for her daily.
Therapists are not all the same. After meeting with 4 other Therapists before Dianne, we did not know if there was much hope for actual help from therapy. With Dianne's wide and deep understanding of all of our issues, she was able to intently listen and offer several easy and impactful ideas for us to use personally and within our Family of 6 household. Her experience and professionalism is without a doubt a huge benefit for our sessions with her.
Dianne is amazing. Direct, thoughtful, and gives constructive feedback. She is always checking in and always seems to provide a different perspective to consider when I'm troubleshooting and finding myself in difficult situations. She is positive and genuine and I truly feel like she is on my team for my growth and healing as an individual.
Dianne has really opened my eyes and my mind to help me grow and heal as a person. I was really struggling with a lot when I came to her, and the way she listens and responds & the way she words things are all very insightful and create a new window to see the situation from so I can feel better opening doors. I would 100% recommend her as a therapist to anyone.
Dianne has been amazing. I love talking with her. And she messages me frequently to check on me and see how I am doing. She is very knowledgeable knows how to talk with me that makes me feel heard.
Dianne has been a huge help to me. She not only has a great session ability but is very adept and rapid in responding with email communication. She goes way over and above the usual therapists I’ve worked with in the past. Dianne checks in almost daily with me with questions and encouragements that really give me the feeling that we are in this fight together. I can’t say enough about my appreciation for Dianne’s help in my work with her!
I have been working with Dianne for quite awhile now. I would say almost a year. In that time, I have consciously watched myself become less reactive to stress and triggers because she has walked me through what my trauma and triggers are and how to recognize and respond before I spiral. She is kind, supportive and to the point. I didn’t need someone to coddle me, I needed firm and honest guidance which she gives well. I’m glad I found her.
Dianne is a great therapist. She listened to what I shared and was able to offer ways to help integrate new ways to see my situation and move forward in a positive direction. But most importantly she checked in repeatedly throughout to highlight what we talked about. I highly recommend her! Thanks Dianne

I have really enjoyed what Diane has to offer me and she puts things into perspective and gives me ways of how to cope and ideas that I would never have thought of about where all these feelings come from and what’s going on, she is very experienced and very caring and seems genuinely interested in my mental health. I appreciate her very much.
