I am unpacking a lifetime of "stuff" I have not taken the time to or wanted to deal with. Sheila has been so patient and kind. It is tough to talk about and share some of these experiences, yet Sheila has such a gentle way that lets you know you are in a safe place to let it out and share what you have gone through.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She’s great!
Sheila is extremely caring and listens really well. She has helped me to recover from and cope with postpartum stress and anxiety. I would highly recommend her!
Sheila has been great! She is an attentive listener and has offered various strategies to help me deal with my anxiety.
Very patient and listens well!
Sheila has been extremely helpful with helping me deal with the anxiety issues and stress I have been dealing with. It is easy to confide in her, and she is great at listening while also being able to give constructive input and she is also capable of lending great ideas when I was looking for advice on how I might be able to deal with issues involving having negative thoughts or calming my own negative outlook. She's very easy to have a friendly conversation with but is also very good at saying the right things to help me see my situation from another perspective.
I love Shiela! She’s fantastic and so helpful!
Sheila Hancock has been a phenomenal therapist to me. She listens, but doesn’t coddle. If I need to hear something productive that isn’t necessarily what I want to hear she is not afraid to give me that hard advice but she gives it in such a way that I thank her for it. That’s what therapy is all about … the give-and-take. She listens when it’s hard she listens when it’s good and always there’s a lesson, always there’s some thing to learn from our behavior and something to improve upon. Not to say everything‘s work but it’s truly a pleasure to work with her. I don’t feel like I’m doing work with her. She’s got this great personality and makes everything easy… Even the hard bits. I encourage you to look into working with Sheila, but please don’t take my spot!!

Sheila has been outstanding and extraordinary in helping me vent and keep calm. I poured my guts out in my profile, hoping I would be matched with a provider to meet my needs, and in less than a few hours, she sent me a message, and WOW, is she an excellent and compassionate match.
