I have a vast amount of counseling knowledge and practical counseling experience with extensive practice, and thorough research on issues impacting the African American community, Marital/Relationship therapy, as well as adolescent issues, and Career Counseling. I have over 8 years of counseling experience working with diverse populations in individual, family, school, and group formats.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines client-centered, cognitive-behavioral,solution-focused, and existential therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I’m making progress with my issues through the help from Emmanuel.

Emmanuel has helped me cope through a lot of my trials and tribulations and has offered more than reassurance but exercises for me to apply which is something I need for accountability. Great listener and makes me feel seen!

Very smart, helpful, logical and understanding.

He’s very genuine and authentic. I appreciate how he give me all the clinical terminology but then also breaks it down for me little by little to help me better understand. I feel like he’s genuinely listening but also hearing me, if that makes any sense.

Working with Emmanuel has been awesome. He has been able to listen to what I’m going through and ask thought provoking questions to help me land in a better mental and physical state.

I’ve had a few therapists over the years but Emmanuel is by far the best I’ve had. He's a great listener. Lots of empathy and understanding. Takes great notes and summarizes well. Also, he really pushes me, in a positive way, to go deeper. If you want a superficial therapist, he’s not the one. But if you truly want to go deeper and want to feel like you are constantly doing “the work” then I highly recommend him.

He’s a phenomenal therapist who really makes me feel heard. I am comfortable revealing all components that make me feel uneasy with him, because of his comforting nature.

Emmanuel has been fantastic to work with so far. He has been very professional and is easy to talk to. He’s a good communicator.
