Hello! Thank you for visiting my page and considering me to become your counselor.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland with 10 years of experience. I work with clients who are dealing with different issues including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship/communication issues, parenting problems, stress/overwhelmed, low self-esteem, career challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues.
As a counselor, I feel it is important to be objective, supportive and to provide a safe space where the client feels heard and validated. My therapy style is a collaborative relationship where the client feels respected, and we work towards discovering strategies and solutions that works best for the client. My therapy style is a collaborative relationship where the client feels respected, and we work towards discovering strategies and solutions that works best for the client. I gear our sessions to meet the client's unique and specific needs and the client finds ways to be the best versions of themselves. My approach includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, and Positive Psychology.
Counseling can help the client deal with what is preventing one from achieving their life's dreams and goals. Through the counseling process, clients discover healthy ways of coping and working through struggles so that personal growth and well-being is the outcome of counseling.
I consider it a blessing to journey alongside of clients who are ready to move forward towards living a more intentional and fulfilling life.
I look forward to working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
