Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Ms. Glayds is very kind, listens to me, helps me understand what I'm going through and she remembers things I've said. Also, when I leave a session still upset she sends me messages, and lets me know she's thinking of me.

Gladys is very pleasant to speak to and always encouraging.

Reviewed March 2023

Gladys is absolutely a wonderful therapist and is very kind. My only problem is that I would appreciate if she offered more suggestions and actually gave me some more critiques. She’s a perfect listener, but I definitely do need some Solutions when I am talking about a conundrum. I accidentally pressed 10 in terms of how perfect of a therapist, I would actually say an eight.

Reviewed July 2022

Only had 2 sessions with Gladys and even though we had video connection difficulties which lost some of our time in the hour session. All was well in the end. Hopefully it will work smoothly next week as it's good to see one and other. Thank you.

Reviewed June 2022

Gladys is great!!! But the connection today would not connect so we did not have a proper session. We chatted message for about 10 minutes.

Reviewed May 2022

I love Gladys. She makes me feel heard and she gives me (not assignments) but food for thought to carry with myself through my weeks and it truly does help. I never been in therapy before and this is my very first time and she makes me fall in love with seeking this app. I’m grateful to have her as my therapist!

Reviewed May 2022

Very welcoming and warm. Definitely made me feel excited and ready for therapy again after years of not really feeling comfortable. I’m looking forward to continuing my process with her.
