I’ve had therapists for many years but Shannon is one of a kind. I’ve had all female therapists except for one but I didn’t care for him. When I came here I requested a man thinking I have to change it up, somehow I ended up with Shannon and its been a wonderful learning experience ever since. She’s tough on me when I need it and she’s very kind, compassionate & loving at the same time. My world was upside down when we first spoke and I was ready to crumble and she pulled me up out of the mud and brushed me off. She’s an angel and I’m grateful for her! Thank you!

Hi there!
My name is Shannon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I use a Solution-Focused, client centered approach in supporting and assisting clients in coping through various life events and experiences. Some of these include working with those impacted and affected by: substance use disorders, general mood disorders, and family issues. I am also able to help you to build communication skills, relationship skills, self -esteem, self-confidence. In getting to understand the whole person we can together create a treatment plan to help them lead a productive and fulfilling life.
My approach includes utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and strengths based techniques to create a treatment plan with you based off your individual needs and goals.
It takes a lot of courage to take the first step to begin treatment but now that you are here, let’s get to work!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
