My hopes are to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and accepting and develop with my clients a collaborative therapeutic relationship. My primary goal is to come alongside the client and assist in managing issues that can cause one to feel held in a difficult state and unable to make changes, overwhelmed or paralyzed. I believe that by helping clients to discover new ways of coping, assists to move them toward a more effective and rewarding life. I primarily use cognitive-behavioral, brief and solution focused therapies and techniques among
• other tools to develop an integrative approach that is tailored to each client individually.
• My areas of focus are but not limited to life transitions, stress, anxiety/panic, depression, work and school anxiety, obsessive thinking, grief as well as career, transitions, academic and life coaching.
• I enjoy empowering people to develop new behaviors, cognitions and skills that will lead to an enhanced lifestyle and the ability to handle future challenges. I look forward to working with you. I enjoy people of all backgrounds and consider it a privilege to share in each client's journey.
My goal is to help my clients develop insight, create meaning, and establish concrete tools that can be used long after our work has been completed. I do this by creating a positive and supportive environment that allows for vulnerability and growth.
