I have a passion in making a treatment difference in each client and couple in my practice. My experience in counseling, therapy over the past 25 years ranges from mood disorders, depression, anxiety, including various instances of comorbidity with such issues of generalized anxiety and particular gradience in depression; I have been in private practice since retirement from public school administration in 1994. More generally, I have maintained a general practice in treating a wide range of personal and family issues; Much of my practice has included couple therapy and I have conducted over 800 child custody evaluations. I have maintained contract services with two major independent school districts delivering therapeutic services to students (grades 6-12). My main theoretical orientation is in cognitive behavior therapy, client centered therapy and psychodynamic theory. I believe in doing "no harm" and in the dignity and empathy for each individual in delivering the utmost treatment in individual and group therapy.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
