More about me
Years in Practice: 6
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of experience working as a clinician and mental health counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns such as substance abuse, domestic violence, severe mental illness, family issues, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, developmental disorders, mood disorders, grief and loss, and criminogenic risk factors. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My therapy style involved being open, non-judgmental and collaborative. I treat all clients with respect and dignity and always do my best to be culturally competent. I am passionate about my client centered approach and seek to help others feel comfortable and de-stigmatized. Treatment modalities that I am experienced in are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solutions focused therapy, and overall a trauma informed approach.
Seeking therapy is the first step to learn how to better manage mental health needs and I am happy to be here as a support system to help empower you to reach your goals.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
