Dr. Wilson has been so helpful to me. I really feel like she actually hears what i am saying to her & she can have a conversation with me about things. I don't feel like I am always being therapized, I feel like she genuinely wants to help me and cares for my well being.

Greetings! I applaud you for thinking about starting therapy. Whether you have been involved in treatment or are considering it for the first time, I know it can feel difficult to start with a new person, so in the hopes of making that easier for you, I'll tell you a bit about myself.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. I graduated from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2009 and came to Wisconsin for my residency. I liked it so much, I decided to stay. I chose to specialize in Health Psychology after working in the medical field for many years, so in addition to conditions like anxiety/depression, other areas of specialty for me include gyne cancers, fertility preservation, infertility, chronic pain, grief/loss, and end-of-life issues.

I consider my relationship with patients/clients to be a partnership, and I would describe my style as respectful and supportive. My approach to treatment is derived from Patient/Client-Centered theory, as well as Cognitive-Behavioral and motivational techniques. I am also certified in the VA's Evidence Based Treatment for chronic pain.

Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling.
