Amy is wonderful to talk to. She communicates professionally and is very personable at the same time. She has helped me overcome many mental obstacles in my life and helps me see a clearer picture of what I'm going through. I would absolutely recommend her to someone in need of a strong, kind voice to help them navigate their mental health journey.

She listens Undistracted and gives feedback once she feels like I’m done spilling everything I have for that given session. I fee like my eyes are opened to a new side and light. She gives the science behind why I’ve responded the way I have and I’ve learned how intelligent our bodies really are and how they can protect us. I’ve gone from disliking myself to really appreciating me and all the ways I’ve been protected. Amy did that for me. Thanks.

I am licensed in Florida with 22 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I continue to have a deep passion to help people move past whatever is in their life blocking them from living how they want to live and having the type of relationships they desire. I have been providing therapy for over 20 years and I have worked with many different populations and needs. I am specialized in trauma treatment along with attachment concerns and dissociative qualities. I can assist with individual, couple or family needs.

Combining mindfulness based techniques along with a body-focused modality called Somatic Experiencing, I help bring the mind and the body into peace and coherence. I am also a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Densensitization and Reprocessing) therapist.

During the first meeting, I am interested in understanding what your concerns and needs are. I believe developing a strong bond between myself and the client is vital to successful treatment. I strive to come alongside you to create a goal and plan that you believe will move you towards the life you want to have.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
