Diane is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of therapy experience. Diane believes to have successful outcomes, the client and therapist must first build a strong rapport. Once that foundation is established, Diane will use one of several therapeutic modalities, depending on the issue at hand. These modalities may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Additionally, Diane utilizes the concept of a higher power, gained from her Christian heritage which she integrates in her therapy. as appropriate and applicable.
Diane is known as an excellent listener who is caring, sensitive, and energetic. Not only does she have the necessary credentials, experience, and hours to be licensed, but she also has a lifetime of experience raising three well-adjusted sons and utilizes the wisdom gained from these experiences, which is invaluable!
Diane has wanted to be a therapist for a very long time and is thankful to have the privilege to work with YOU!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
