Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Deanna has been a huge blessing!

Reviewed March 2024

Deanna has taken the time to understand not only what I need from therapy, but also what tools will work best for me. She always has a new resource to offer, and they’re always game changing. The monthly subscription is a bigger hit to my budget now that my financial situation has changed, but I am so happy with my therapy relationship that I’m going to make it work. Because it’s an investment in myself, and because I have never had so much success in therapy as I do with Deanna. She is worth every penny! I’m in a MUCH better place than I was when I started working with her, and I honestly don’t know what my life would look like if hadn’t. Thank you, Deanna!

Dr Williams is phenomenal. I was reluctant going into therapy and had a lot of apprehension. Working with Dr. Williams has been such a blessing. I knew I had things to work-out, but had no idea how much I would benefit from better help. That credit goes exclusively to Dr Williams!

Deanna really listened to me initially and helped me prioritize what my biggest issues I wanted to work on and is very responsive- She sends me articles and worksheets that help me understand and gives me tools to make changes I need to make. I am already seeing a reduction in my stress and anxiety and feel more optimistic about next steps.

Reviewed August 2022

Deanna is a very good listener and is non-judgmental. She asks questions that will help get to the root of an issue while also providing ways we can cope with how we are feeling.
