Michael is an excellent listener who provides great insight and coping tools to be able to deal with lots of different situations. He is able to dig down to root causes and help you understand why you may be reacting the way that you are to certain situations.

I've talked with a lot of folks, but Michael is different. Not once has he cast judgment upon me, nor talk to me with a negative tone. I truly feel he offers a space where I can be myself. His patience and understanding make him an excellent therapist in my opinion.

Michael came into my life at a very crucial time; I had lost my job, had a difficult partnership and was loosing more of myself everyday. He was kind, patient, measured, and always asked me very insightful questions. Michael allowed me the space to process with him rather than telling me what to do or telling me what I wanted to hear. He was incredibly professional and I couldn’t imagine how different the last 7 months would’ve been without his guidance!

Ultimately I'm looking for some pretty deep help on old traumas. Michael is very good at ongoing regular advice and reframing of circumstances to calm down stress. I appreciate it. It's not why I came to Betterhelp but I do look forward to his listening ear and his way of reflecting back what he thinks with informed advice and healthy professional perspectives. When i forget to schedule he reaches out to see how I am. I appreciate that. I have realized that I have ongoing issues and patterns and being able to communicate those with him has been very helpful through a few different recent challenges.

Michael is fantastic. For someone I’ve never met outside of conversation.. There’s a level of comfort I feel when I’m speaking with him. He’s able to Ask me questions in a way that help me find many answers in just a few sentences. I’m very tangential, but he’s able too find a thymes in things I say, when it feels like I’m Just rambling. Michael has helped me in a very short amount of time. He’s sympathetic, and easy going. I actually enjoy talking to him.

This was my first experience with therapy, and honestly I was a little nervous. Michael did an amazing job at easing my nerves and helping me talk through my issues.
