I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California with 5 years of professional experience. I am warm, empathic, supportive, and a good listener. I work with a wide range of concerns including stress and anxiety, low mood and depression, physical and emotional trauma, grief and bereavement, impulse control and self-regulation, executive functioning, peer relations, identity, family dynamics, and chronic pain.
My clinical approach is eclectic. I utilize Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Acceptance Commitment, Family Systems, and motivational interviewing. I believe that my clients are the experts of their lives and my role is to guide them to find the solutions they are after. That's the client-centered approach. I help my clients think about thinking and to change unhelpful thought patterns. That's Cognitive Behavioral (CBT).
The healing process has already begun at the point that we are seeking out counseling support. I am humbled and honored to take that journey with my clients.
