Shaylon gave me a lot of insight. However, she can be inconsistent and not very reliable. Very knowledgeable when you can get her though.

More about me
Licensing: LPC Years in Practice: 10 State: Georgia
Hello! I’m Shaylon Jackson. Thank you for being here!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing counseling services to individuals and families in the state of Georgia. I pride myself in creating a warm and positive atmosphere in which clients can feel safe and can express themselves freely. I have experience working with a variety of mental health disorders including: Substance Use Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorder and more. I also have experience in facilitating psychoeducation groups including: Anger Management, Domestic Violence, Early Recovery Skills, Relapse Prevention, Parenting and Life Skills for Adults, Teens and Adolescents.
I bring a unique and valuable experience to my practice. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities to guide you down the road that produces positive outcomes, healing and self-discovery. I believe seeking counseling is an opportunity for growth and demonstrates a true sign of strength. I wholeheartedly believe in the notion of “before a solution can be discovered, the root must be identified”. Therefore, I strive to help my clients identify what’s beneath the surface to better understand what’s happening above the surface. I value quality over quantity. Therefore, I only schedule a limited number of sessions per week so that I can focus on each client’s unique needs and be present with them in the session.
I look forward to working with you.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
