Paula is a strong Christian. Though we are not the same faith, I can work well with her because there is much common ground. She understands that leaning into my re-found faith is important to me. I am divorced. Sometimes, Christian therapists are judgmental on that. I have been comfortable discussing those issues as well.

Paula is wonderful! She’s so supportive and so helpful, she always answers and has me contact her whenever I need to. She gives me hope that it will get better.

I came on to better help to get some guidance and realization in my life with some Christian guidance and with Paula, I got exactly that. Paula has been extremely helpful as my therapist. We were matched perfectly as she is about my same age with grown children like myself. She is able to open me up to see the positives in my life, and to work on gratitude. She turns my anger into encouragement and empathizes with my situation, but at the same time works with me on forgiveness. Never tells me what to do, but just talks about things to make me think and make good decisions.

I've been working with Paula on long-term effects (PTSD) of bullying in 4th grade. She suggested that we try EMDR, which she is trained in. After 3 sessions, I'm starting to see the results in terms of my mood being more positive, my thoughts are less negative, and I'm able to be more positive and confident.
