Hi, My name is Helen Fox.

I’m a BACP registered person centred counsellor.

I live and work in Southend On Sea. The majority of my clients are also based in the South East of England. I have extensive experience providing quality services for adults and young people.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, social behaviour, behavioural issues, relationships, interpersonal dynamics, communication, self-esteem, school/career issues, anger management, stress management and life transitions. I am also trained in trauma informed modalities

My passion is helping people. Whether that’s developing new healthy tools or addressing a challenging issue within your life. Whatever it may be, I am here to support you. I look forward to hearing from you.

My practice hours are: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 6.45pm. Where possible, I will respond to messages within one working day. Messages received at the weekend will be responded to on the next working day.

Please note, I am typically not available on UK public holidays.

I have been in therapy for around 6 months now and I feel a massive difference and think my outlook and emotional headspace has improved leaps and bounds. Helen is always very insightful, cheery and appropriately challenging towards any thoughts or feelings that need to be tackled in sessions. I personally have a range of issues to work through and Helen has been able to provide great support for everything that I have brought to sessions including dealing with an ill family member, body image and eating disorder history, anxiety and depression and difficulties adapting to change. So I would say she is a very effective and diverse therapist and would recommend her to anyone looking for help.
