Welcome — I'm Kate.
I'm an experienced and compassionate psychotherapist with a background in counselling, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and meditation. With over 17 years of experience, I offer an integrative model of therapy tailored to your unique needs, combining a range of therapeutic tools to support your emotional well-being and personal growth.
My aim is to provide a safe, confidential, and nurturing space where you can feel heard, acknowledged, and supported. Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, therapy with me offers the opportunity to reconnect with yourself and move toward a calmer, more fulfilling life.
I work with adults on both a short-term and long-term basis. Together, we can explore what's holding you back, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools to manage the challenges of everyday life. My work is collaborative and client-centred — I believe that you are the expert in your life. My role is to walk alongside you as a guide and support, helping you visualise and work toward a more peaceful and empowered future.
What You Can Expect
Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we’ll explore thoughts, emotions, and behavioural patterns to foster clarity and self-awareness. Imagine it as building a bridge — from where you are now to where you want to be — with me as your compassionate companion.
My integrative approach draws on a variety of techniques, which may include worksheets or reflective exercises when words are hard to find. I also incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices where appropriate, as powerful tools to enhance inner peace and cultivate a steadier relationship with life’s uncertainties.

I understand how difficult it can be to feel anxious, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. My goal is to help you feel grounded, seen, and equipped with meaningful strategies for lasting change.
Professional Background
I hold a degree in Psychology from The Open University (2006), followed by professional training in counselling, psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy (2013). I have recently completed a Mind Calm Master training in meditation, deepening my ability to support clients in cultivating mindfulness and inner stillness. Since 2008, I have worked in both placements and private practice. I remain committed to monthly clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure high standards of care.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
