Hello, and welcome.
I’m a warm, empathic therapist with over 25 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. At different times in life, we can all benefit from having someone to talk to—someone who can help us make sense of where we are, how we got here, and where we want to go. I believe we often hold the answers within us; sometimes, we just need the right support to access them.
I’ve worked with a wide range of issues, especially trauma and abuse in all its forms—whether experienced in childhood, adulthood, or both. Trauma doesn’t have to be a “big event”—it’s anything that feels overwhelming or too much to manage at the time. This can lead to struggles with relationships, anxiety, depression, addiction, anger and other challenges
I take a preventative, Integrative approach. I don’t believe a formal diagnosis is always necessary; instead, I focus on helping you understand your emotions and patterns so you can move forward in a more fulfilling way. We’ll always go at your pace—this is your journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and bring not only professional experience but also genuine compassion and belief in your capacity for change.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, friends, my Labrador, long walks outdoors, watching horse events, and painting with watercolours.
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask—there’s no such thing as a silly question.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Wendys warmth makes it really easy to discuss all topics and she always has an interesting view and directs the conversation in ways that really help me understand myself.
Kind, considerate, multifaceted in her approach to explaining things if not immediately understood, patient. I don’t consider her a therapist: I’d consider her a friend.
Compassionate and caring, patient and understanding. All that a therapist needs to make you feel valued and respected. So far Wendy has been all of these and even at this early stage I feel comfortable taking to her.
Wendy is a great therapist. Wise and supportive.
Wendy is great!
She's lovely person I feel easy to talk to hear. And she have a professional trauma informed approach. The sessions helped to understand my issues better and be able to work trough.
I've been working with Wendy for almost half a year now and it's helped me a lot through a life crisis at first, before working on more general issues that will have a substantial impact on my life. She's very empathic, knowledgeable and kind, and I highly recommend her as a therapist.
Wendy is understanding, compassionate and takes time to really listen. She has a great way of knowing what is right and gives honest and constructive advice.
Wendy’s kind and wise; experienced and steadfast- a great source of comfort and guidance.
I’ve had three sessions so far with Wendy and I’m finding it really useful. She’s great at listening to whatever issues you have and has some really useful insight and feedback. I feel I can get a well thought out, not judgmental place to discuss my problems.
