More about me
Years in Practice: 24 State: Maryland
My last 24 years experience is mainly focused on the client's population with Severe Mental Illness with schizophrenia, schizoaffective, and mood related disorders with paranoia and delusion. From telehealth therapy, I can provide therapeutic direction for the client and family based on my experiences. If I believe that the client needs a higher level of care, I will specify the care plan and explain what additional services might work best for the client.
I am licensed in Maryland. I got an MS in counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I got a BS in psychology in George Mason University.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
