Hannah tailored the entire experience to meet my needs and goals. She listened attentively with care and helped me so much with independence and self compassion. She completely shaped my view of what therapy should look like. Thank you!

More about me
Years in Practice: 6
I am a licensed therapist in Charlottesville, Virginia with 7 years of clinical experience working with clients on lgbtq identity, building relationship skills, cultivating intrinsic motivation and confidence, addressing unhelpful patterns, healing from trauma, learning nervous system regulation & navigating transformational life changes.
I am also trained as a life coach and group facilitator, specializing in personal growth and life-force alignment for those who find themselves in the margins and borderlands: twentysomethings, creatives, changers.
I believe that all people are inherently whole and possessing of tremendous power, love, and creativity. My role as your therapist is to accompany you on the journey of re-discovering those qualities and capacities within yourself that will most support you through life's joys and challenges. I hold the mirror and the space for you to see yourself increasingly clearly.
My intention for working with clients is that each session will be an experience of value, and sometimes of exceptional value. If you are not looking forward to sessions, or finding yourself thinking about things we talked about, we will explore whether another therapist might be a better match: there are many different kinds of therapy, and other therapist-fish in the sea. I wish for you a helpful, liberating, encouraging therapist relationship, reach out if you discern it might be with me!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
