I received my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my M.S.Ed. in Community Mental Health Counseling both from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Having a background in both communication disorders as well as mental health allows me to work with clients who may not understand how their communication patterns with themselves and others may be impacting their overall mental health. I have worked with children, teens, families and adults in a variety of settings including educational and medical settings.
My approach with clients is to use a variety of modalities that best suit the client and their situation. Most people find the most success when they are able to modify their thoughts or behavior to achieve success and achieve their goals.
