Rebecca is a kind and respectful therapist, I have felt a lot of inner growth and development with her by my side. It has been a great experience to know that the platform works and that I can rely on the teaches to help me through some dark times.

Rebecca Mapp has been a great therapist to talk with. I feel that she actually listens to what I have to say and has always been supportive and stuck by me even when I had to take a very sudden break from our sessions.

More about Rebecca

Hello, I’m Rebecca, an integrative therapist offering a supportive and non-judgmental space to explore what’s been feeling difficult or overwhelming.

I specialise in working with anxiety, trauma, and neurodiversity helping people make sense of their experiences and find ways to feel more grounded, safe, and connected to themselves.

My integrative approach means I draw from different therapeutic models, including person-centred, psychodynamic, somatic, and cognitive approaches, to create a way of working that fits you as an individual.

I recognise that everyone’s story is unique, and therapy should adapt to your needs rather than the other way around.

Many of the people I work with describe feeling 'on edge',  'stuck', or 'different', often after difficult past experiences and sometimes without knowing why. Together, we can begin to gently explore what’s beneath those feelings, understand how past experiences may still be affecting you, and develop practical ways to support your emotional wellbeing.

As someone who values neurodiversity, I welcome clients who identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent. I aim to create an affirming environment that honours your way of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world.

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and paced according to your comfort level. My goal is to help you build greater self-understanding and confidence, so you can navigate life with more ease and authenticity.

If you’re considering therapy and wondering where to start, I’d be happy to answer any questions and discuss how we might work together.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I've been in and out of therapy for over a decade and Rebecca is the best therapist I've ever worked with. She is engaging, thoughtful, supportive, insightful and empathetic. Her humanity and autheticity are traits you don't see very often in most lines of work, and with mental health especially, but she exudes both and it makes all the difference to our sessions and the overall impact of my therapy. Couldn't recommend her enough. If you are thinking about changing therapists and thinking about choosing Rebecca - stop thinking and do it! You won't regret it.

Incredibly reflective and enjoyable to talk to. Feel better and better after every chat. A true pleasure.

Reviewed September 2022

Very friendly, supportive, empathic and an amazing listener. She is very professional and it really comes across that she wants to help me, tailored to my specific issue and not just generic anxiety coping strategies. I would recommend her to anyone!
