Leanne's presence and her kindness is so soothing for me as I unpack various issues in my life. I appreciate her ability to listen, to ask questions, and to strike to the root of a matter I found too tangled or complex. I'm grateful to have her help at this time.

Hi there, I'm Leanne; as an integrative psychotherapist, you will always be greeted with a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental environment.

Your reason for looking for me to stand with you? is for me to walk alongside you to help you achieve a more peaceful mindset to help in your everyday life by working through your worries, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Overthinking or Personal growth.

I have assisted thousands of people with working through the root cause of their anxiety, depression and trauma with therapy by talking and using tools; some clients have reported their overthinking being eradicated towards the end of therapy, which significantly reduces anxiety. You should leave therapy with me, having the tools for life when life really does get in the way.

I know this is not an easy thing for you to do, to reach out for therapy. Changes and events in life can leave us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain of what's to come, which then leaves us feeling unsettled and anxious or have feelings of depression and worry, that feeling of dread. I will be with you by offering this safe space for you to talk and help you process your thoughts and feelings to bring you to a calmer, more peaceful mindset.

I am an integrative person-centred counsellor and have undertaken training in CBT, Solution Focused, Narrative psychology and Couples therapy. This means I can integrate modalities that suit the presenting issue for you as and when needed and collaborate with you.

Along with my own life experience, I have had training in Domestic Abuse through Woman's Aid and First Light. Penhaligons Friends with Greif work.

Through client work, I have experience with Social Anxiety, Isolation, Trauma inc, PTSD, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and relationship breakdowns to include family. Grief, depression, anxiety, and my work is not restricted to these areas.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Leanne is the first therapist I have ever worked with and she has been incredibly helpful and supportive. I feel completely at ease with her and I always feel respected during our sessions. I feel very grateful to have the opportunity to grow with her.

Reviewed June 2023

Leanne is amazing! She guided and supported me through a very difficult breakup and the realisations that followed after. Processing emotions and healing suck big time and it is a looot of work, Leanne gave me the tools to successfully navigate through the situation - connect with myself, learn and rebuild my values, understand the importance of and establish boundaries. Through therapy I was able to discover parts of myself (genuinely surprised by some findings), I’ve got answers to questions that always bothered me and was able to validate feelings I didn’t even knew needed validation. It is a long process (will be here for a little while) but I’m really happy I have Leanne's support and experience in my corner. What really helped me was the safe space she created so I could share anything without fear of judgement, she addressed my needs/problems at the time I wanted to deal with them and fully accommodated my pace, while also suggesting areas I should start with when I was completely lost. I really liked the thought provoking questions that made me reflect, challenged me and helped me see the world and situations from a different perspective. Honestly, I don’t know if I would have been able to go through this period of my life in the healthy and mature way I did if it was not for Leanne.
