Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Betsy is an incredible therapist. In my case, she made a sincere effort to understand my situation, and maybe me feel heard and acknowledged. She provides a very unique and helpful perspective on issues, and has helped me work through some very tough obstacles. I feel like she truly cares about me as a person, taking a lot of time to get to know me and even leveraging helpful exercises to help me get to know my self on a deeper level. I highly recommend her!

Elizabeth Phalen is one of the best therapist I have worked with, she’s honest, caring, and knows what she’s talking about!! Elizabeth listens, open, easy to talk to and most importantly, Elizabeth is reliable!

I’d never had a session with a therapist where I completely trusted and opened up before. But Elizabeth makes it just so effortless and easy to talk about what’s needed. She nudges and pushes the conversation in the right way that you seamlessly reach the end of the session feeling more and more weight lifting off your shoulders each week. I connect really well and she always keeps up to date with any messages or journal entries I send through the system. The therapist I’ve always been searching for!!
