I knew I wanted/needed therapy, but I didn't know where to start...I kept hearing advertisements for betterhelp.com and decided to try it out. Ericka Freeman was the first therapist assigned to me and there was no need to look any further. She has so much experience and expertise. Ericka makes conversation and sharing so natural, it doesn't feel like "therapy," rather, it's like catching up with a good friend that always has a listening ear. She questions me and makes me think about why I do the things I do. She's helped redirect my thinking into healthier, more positive thoughts, given me tools to identify my triggers and motivations, and ways to adapt in situations that come up unexpectedly that would normally put me in a tailspin. I've been working with Ericka for almost a year and my family and friends say they can see a great deal of positive change in me. If you are looking for a therapist, Ericka Freeman is definitely someone I would recommend!!!

I was nervous about being paired up with a complete stranger to share my life with when I first signed up with betterhelp. Ericka Freeman immediately put me at ease with her warm, friendly, gentle demeanor. When we talk, it's like two new friends getting to know each other, drinking coffee, and sharing life. Ericka makes it easy to open up about relationships, think about past situations and help me problem solve how they could've been handled differently, and also guides me as I have to face and prepare for upcoming events and milestones with my family. I feel like Ericka and I have made great progress in the short amount of time I've been working with her and I feel it's a journey that's just begun. I feel more empowered, more confident, and less anxious than before knowing her. I still have much to improve on, but I have faith that I can reach my goals with Ericka Freeman walking (or crawling) beside me.
