Emelise has been an incredible resource in managing my bipolar disorder. Her experience has helped with both my mental health and my professional life. She is always honest and knows what I need to hear and when. Her insight and perspective has greatly helped me to improve my overall wellbeing! I am so thankful that I found her!

Emelise is a very good listener. She often offers suggestions based on what I have said in previous conversations. This helps me listen better to myself and avoid self-deception or rationalization. I am a talker and she is a good mirror.

She is very understanding to my feeling and will often shed light on things I didn't think about. She shifts priorities if neccessary and isn't afraid to tell me truth in a compassionate way. I really look forward to my sessions with her.

Emelise has provided a great benefit to me with the way she reframes my words and allows me to see stressful situations from another vantage point. She is cheerful, complimentary, and encouraging. I highly recommend her as a therapist and counselor for anyone who feels "stuck".

Emelise is a consummate professional who cares about her clients, listens closely to what they are saying and understands what they are writing about. She frames questions in a manner that doesn’t make one feel guilty but gets them to objectively reflect on where they need to change or improve. She genuinely cares and it comes across during her sessions. I don’t think I would have progressed as quickly as I have without her guidance.
