Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Paul is awesome, he listens and is always considerate with his responses. All while still saying what needs to be said. He has created a lot of clarity for me.
Paul is easy to work with.
From our first session, it was clear that Paul was an exceptional therapist. His ability to listen without judgment and understand the deeper meanings behind my words was extraordinary. He possesses a unique talent for gently guiding the conversation in a way that enlightened my understanding of my own patterns and behaviors. His suggestions for strategies to deal with anxiety and depression were both practical and effective, leading to noticeable improvements in my daily life. Paul has a compassionate and patient demeanor, making him easy to trust and open up to. I'm grateful for his support and highly recommend his services to anyone seeking understanding and change.

A great therapist.
Paul is great!!! Very knowledgeable
I really feel better after working with Paul. I don't feel as bad as I did before I started therapy and I'm sure it will be better, the main thing is to keep working. Paul is involved in the work, listens, discusses and helps me a lot with my problems. Thanks to him
Paul is very friendly and knows how to orient the session in a positive way. He is sympathetic and helped me to start solving my case. Thanks Paul!
Paul is open minded and non judgemental, listens well, and makes the patient feel comfortable.
I am no stranger to therapy and I am a firm believer in the benefits of therapy whether it be for dealing with a specific concern or a "tune-up". What I appreciate about Paul is that he is astute, observant and really drills down to the core issue, cutting through my nonsense. Paul wields wit and wisdom in his practice, creating a safe space that is comfortable and welcoming. I look forward to my sessions with Paul and always leave with insights and things to work on. I highly recommend Paul Sohr.
Great guy. Understanding and cares.
I’ve been working with Paul for the past few months now and I have been able to improve myself greatly as a result. He may be the mental professional that I’ve worked the longest with in my experience with the field so far. I think that I set a high precedent and standard for my mental health professionals because of how intersectional my identity is, which often leads to me having to educate people on the things that I encounter in my day-to-day life. In addition to being knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, Paul does his own research when he’s unfamiliar with something I’ve said and I really admire and respect his drive to improve himself as a professional. From my experience with Paul so far, he’s very open and communicative, open-minded, attentive, receptive to feedback and the boundaries of his clients, keeps well detailed notes and makes an effort to link information from different sessions, seeks to broaden his knowledge and hone his expertise, and works to identify his clients’ core concerns and aid them in strategizing goals and coping skills. I have sung Paul’s praises to my family, friends, and peers, and I believe he is an incredibly competent person. Regardless if this is your first or fiftieth experience with counselling, I highly recommend Paul for his skill and compassion.
Paul has been great listening to me. In honesty I have only had two visits with him. He has made it very simple with communication. He listens does not judge and has given me perspective in my life into simple communication visits.
He’s a realist. He tells it like it is and I love it. Open minded therapist that explores all avenues.
He works hard to help the number of people he speaks to on a daily basis. He offers insight in scenarios that is outside of my scope of awareness. That is kind of what I was looking for from therapy. Just more awareness about myself and what I could be doing to contribute to or worsen any issues I have in my life in terms of relationships. He has helped me to be secure and strong in my decisions and direction for healing.
Paul has been allowing me to get out my concerns and is grabbing onto what is useful and coachable for me and my concerns, what more could you ask for? He's a good listener and is calm, I appreciate his approach.
The sessions I had with Paul were very helpful. I came to Betterhelp because of a family crisis. It knocked the wind out of my sails, and left me feeling stranded, confused and angry. Paul helped me look at the facts, and move forward utilizing what I could control. He helped me let go of factors that were out of my hands, and helped me focus on where I wanted to end up. It was very useful. Thank you Paul!
Paul is wonderful - he has a great balance of validating my experience while also challenging me and encouraging see things differently.
