She's amazing

Surilla Lawrence is a very gentle, caring, and driven therapist from my initial experience with her. I am quite picky with therapists; although I do look forward to speaking with her now that we have begun our therapy goal work! She keeps me motivated while allowing me to safely express anything I feel the need to get out. Even when I jump around from topics while being counseled, she does well to stay on track and also keep my mind on how I am able to obtain the ideal desirable personal results of therapy we intend to achieve (are actively reaching together with inner work and communication). She is a safe space for trauma victims, hyper attentives, and high energy/fast pace. Thank you magnificent Therapist Surilla Lawrence.

Great experience

I was nervous that my therapist and I wouldn’t exactly connect, maybe I would feel judged for my issues. My first session was amazing! I feel free to express myself. She asks insightful questions and guides me through my boggled mind to get to the answer. The worksheets help me to focus on small aspects of the big problem and help a lot. I’m very grateful to have Surilla as my therapist.

Excellent listener, great ideas, very friendly and kind

Surilla has been a beacon of light. She is kind, empathetic and encouraging. Always reminding me to ask myself “what do I know to be true”, which really helps me sift through emotional clutter to get me to a place of clarity. From a difficult breakup to parenting my teen and all the little things in between, Surilla has been pivotal in helping me get through the challenges and come out the other end with confidence and more awareness of the importance of having love and appreciation for myself during challenging times.

Surilla is a godsend, the type of therapist that makes people believe in therapy. This woman is INCREDIBLE at what she does. She has a very natural and gentle way of showing you a different perspective, which has helped me personally enhance my strategy for my goals/career (and also rebuild family relationships) because of her insight. She knows when to challenge your viewpoints and when to simply listen. She's kind, empathetic, strong and hilarious at the same time. If you are her client, consider yourself lucky - you are in the best hands possible.

The best I’ve ever had

I never thought therapy was for me. Now Approaching age 38 it is the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I am really thankful for Surilla & her insight & wisdom. She is very helpful and is a great listener!

I've only been talking with Surilla for about 2 weeks now. But I use her guidance with me every day. She's helped me understand that I am of value and that I have control of how things affect me. She's helped me open up to things that I pushed away for so long and the skills she's given me to work through my past I use in everyday situations and they're becoming healthy habits. I know healing takes time. And she's the one that's made me see that. I'm so grateful for her and her guidance.

When I started therapy I though it was going to be me doing all the talking, and the therapist just asking how does that make you feel. But it's not like that at all. She goes beyond and talks about that problem for the week, to back to the problems from the past that could lead you to where you are now. Definitely helped me realize something in only a month that we started. I can't wait to see how much she helps me heal myself in the future.
