Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Susan is everything you need in a therapist. She is an intuitive listener and always gives the best advice or helpful resources. She always made me feel heard and understood. I have had such great success with her in my corner!

She is been helpful and supportive
Awesome! Very attentive to my life. Keeps track of my chaos and helps me look at the places where improvement can be made.
It is very helpful to have a therapist who is so open minded and understands alternative relationship styles like LGBTQ+ and polyamory. Susan has been wonderful!
Ms Susan is very kind and lets you talk without interrupting..no judgement. It’s very easy to open up to her .i feel I can say silly stuff, ramble on or just ask her any question without feeling awkward.
Great therapist!
I have not been on BetterHelp for very long, but through the time that I have use the service I have some breakthroughs and improvements in my life and I can only hope that it continues and I appreciate what the service has provided given it being difficult for me to receive Professional help because of bias views in our society .
Susan is a really great listener and keeps up with me very well. I was very nervous to start therapy and she’s made the whole experience amazing.
Susan has been wonderful to talk with each week. For me, I need someone to act as a therapist but also feel like a friend. If a therapist is too clinical, I have a hard time opening up. I feel judged and will ultimately close off. But, having a friendly, and somewhat casual-feeling, discussion helps me to express myself and speak up about my issues I need help with. She's excellent at switching between the two facets to get me to talk. And, she's helped me to look more at myself and my family relationships in different ways. I look forward to our sessions each week.
Susan is a great listener and get exceptional advice ! I am really glad I was matched with her ! I always feel better when meeting with her !
Susan has been incredibly understanding and compassionate and has been a great help to my mental health
Susan is the most respectful, supportive, and understanding therapist. It always feels like I’m talking to a good friend and she allows for me to process a lot without any pressure. Absolute blessing!
Susan and I have only met once but she has given me some good information. She is also a great listener.
Fantastic therapist!!!
Susan is smart, compassionate, and funny. I feel seen and heard by her. Even as she is every bit the professional, she creates a warm connection and safe environment.
Susan was very helpful in helping me through and helping me understand my anxiety, I highly recommend her services
Susan is patient, clear, and tries to ensure I understand her reasoning behind everything she tells me. As an autistic person, this is crucial. She's also kind and accepting of the things I talk about; she doesn't judge. I've always been a bit leary of therapy, but Susan's demeanor put me at ease immediately.
Susan often checks in to make sure I am doing ok, especially if I don’t message her for a while. She is easy to talk to and understanding.
Susan is a very thoughtful person who truly is interested in helping others live a more satisfying life. She is not stuck with one method and wants feedback on what is and is not effective. Based on that she adapts and offers additional suggestions or insights.
Susan is very friendly and has a way of putting one at ease very quickly. If you're not certain if therapy is the right route, I would recommend scheduling a session with her. I think you'd be pleased.
Susan is a great listener who has great feedback and is very helpful
Susan has been wonderful to work with. I was worried about talking to a therapist, as I didn't want someone who felt clinical and detached. But, from the start, Susan made me feel heard and that my concerns and questions were valid. She honestly made me feel like I was talking to an old friend, which instantly put me at ease.
