Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Excellent at what she does
Christine has been awesome. She has really helped me navigate some of the things I’m dealing with. Almost every day I use some of the tools she has put in my toolbox for dealing with the craziness of this world and my mental health. I would recommend her to anyone dealing with the problems of life. She’s great!
Very professional.
Christine has been a godsend as she has walked along side me on this difficult path life mapped out for me, offering advice, coping strategies, and resources as I push forward and navigate life's biggest decisions. Thank you Christine!
Very good and caring
purely awesome sauce
Ms. Mendez has been incredible! One of the biggest things she revealed to me was “you’re in deeper than you think. “ having that outside perspective is exactly what I was hoping for from professional counseling. Christine has really helped me open up
Great listener and informative speaker on my goals and issues. Thank you for all you do !
Very compassionate.
I feel very lucky to have somebody like Christine, She's very Professional
She is very helpful and extremely understanding.
She’s great and really listens! She reaches out to me often also and it helps to be able to just stop and let her in on what’s been going on in between our sessions.
I came to Better Help to deal with grief and to handle the challenges of ongoing caregiving. Christine has been a wonderful support and guide through this transition process. She has been very empathetic and is a good listener even when I feel like I’m just being petty. She’s helping me to improve my internal self talk through therapy sessions, worksheets and responses to my journal entries. Christine has encouraged me to take better care of myself—making sure that I’m living my life as well as taking care of my loved one. I feel so much better a few months into the process. I have recommended Christine to a friend of mine going through a similar process. She’s really good!
She has helped me to control my anxiety and teach me to how control my thoughts. She responds quickly when I need her.
She has been amazing!! Very supportive and informative. Highly recommend her. She has helped me through a lot and has made me feel very comfortable discussing things with her.
I'm fairly new to therapy, so I appreciate Christine's naturally kind-hearted and gentle approach. She's a great listener, and I believe that she's passionate about her desire to help others. From what I can tell, she is someone who continues to invest in her field of study, by attending conferences, reading books from accredited authors in her field, and tuning in to what I think is a natural gift. Additionally, Ms. Mendez understands the balance between listening and providing feedback. I would describe her approach as somewhat client-guided, as she allows the conversation to flow and does her best to ensure that the client is comfortable, and provides worksheets for assessment as well as opportunity for future discussions. I would highly recommend Ms. Mendez for anyone who is new to therapy, and or would like to speak to someone who is very easy to talk to.
Christine is very professional and knowledgeable in Her field. She really cares and listens as well as provides solutions to help you with a positive mental health outcome
Christine is the counseling equivalent of a miracle. Our conversations are so nice and she offers a perspective that I would never be able to see or give a voice to on my own. I appreciate her so much. Also, I love the journal questions.
Very understanding and personable! She is easy to talk to and helps look at the next step of things. I’ve really enjoyed my sessions so far!
Anyone that has the opportunity to speak and work with Christine will be truly blessed
Christine has listening skills and discernment. She hears what is being said and gives direction to help move through the issues in my life. She is knowledgeable and personable wrapped up with professionalism.
Christine has been amazing. Always keeps in touch with me and is there when I need her. She is so supportive in helping me through my most difficult times.
Christine Mendez is a great therapist! Right off the back she listened to me and understood my problems. We cut straight to the case and being giving me worksheets to help me with my anxiety and panic attacks. She checks on me and is always there to listen or congratulate me! Highly recommend her to anyone struggling with stress, anxiety, or panic attacks.
Christine is the best. She listens to me, reiterates what we're talking about to make sure she understands and provides open and great feedback. I don't feel judged at all and she offers a variety of helpful feedback and guidance to help with our current issues. She's honestly the best.
