My name is Lisa Baird, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor within the state of Florida. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their emotional well-being and find the path to personal growth and healing. Over the past 15 years, I have had the honor of helping people from diverse backgrounds to overcome a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties including those struggling with stress, anxiety, parenting issues, depression, communication, social problems, and career challenges.

I strongly believe in the power of a therapeutic relationship and the potential for growth and healing it can offer. My goal as a therapist is to empower my clients, providing them with the tools and insights necessary to navigate life's challenges and discover their own resilience. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

I use an eclectic approach that includes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person centered and solution-focused therapies. We will work together to establish a dialog and treatment plan that is tailored towards your individual needs.

Taking this first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. Thank you for trusting me to walk with you on your journey. I look forward to working with you to solve whatever concerns led you to join Better Help.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
