Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

I am very happy with Carrie. She listens and gives me tools to help with my anxieties and stress. She not only listen to me but also hears what I am going through.

Reviewed May 2024

Carrie is an unbelievable listener. There's a difference with being engaged and truly actively listening vs. listening to respond. She is very calm, provides feedback and really gets to know YOU and what will work for you. She suggests different avenues to take aside from only therapy sessions with her (I.E. groups, journaling, homework, etc). I have put off therapy for a long time & am so glad made the decision to start! It's never too late!

This is my first time seeing a therapist. I had to go through a couple of the Better Help therapists to find one that fits and clicks. Carrie Kinder has supported, questioned and guided me through a very difficult situation starting today 11 weeks ago. We continued to grow and learn together. She is absolutely a wonderful therapist and I am so lucky to have found her. My life is better with our talks and I cannot wait for the 11 weeks to come with our sessions.

Carrie truly cares and is easy to talk to. She helps me a lot.
