Hi, my name is Helen and I'm a qualified and accredited integrative counsellor, with three years of experience offering one-to-one sessions with adult clients. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can feel listened to and actually heard as they explore their issues and concerns.

Having delivered over 900 hours of therapeutic counselling sessions, I'm experienced in working with clients to explore and manage a wide range of issues, from anxiety and stress to bereavement, trauma and confidence building.

I've seen first-hand how having a safe and confidential space to explore feelings and concerns allows people to make sense of their situations and achieve more self-understanding and knowledge.

My person-centred approach to counselling integrates aspects of psychotherapy from the humanistic, psychodynamic and behaviourist disciplines. This means I work in a client-led manner that is fluid and the focus in the sessions can move between the past, present and future depending on the needs of each individual.

All of my therapeutic work is underpinned by the individual needs of the client, using methods adapted to support clients on their personal therapeutic journey. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
