Amber is one of the most personable therapists I've had the good fortune of coming in contact with. Conversations are easy and never too heady or strenuous. And when an occasion does arise when I need to work through a heavier set of emotions, she almost effortlessly helps me sort through them without any judgement. It's been a really great experience working with her!

Amber Lynn Eberhardt is a dually licensed therapist (LMHC, SUDP, CMHS) and moved to Eastern Washington in 2008 to pursue degrees in psychology, social work, and addiction. She has been a leader in agencies around the Eastern Washington and has experience working with complex cases utilizing an orientation that deeply understands the impact of trauma on human beings.
She believes in affirming and inclusive care to celebrate diversity and living a fully authentic self. Amber is committed to giving a judgement free zone, as your experiences matter. She actively listens to validate your feelings and offers guidance without assumptions. She creates space to explore all aspects of your life to create a comprehensive healing plan.
She provides EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and other somatic-based education with a passion for topics including trauma, life transitions, general mental health, sexual health, self-acceptance and self-love, and somatic body exploration. An additional career passion is to support women in various life stages with a strong emphasis on trauma, sexual identity, sexual satisfaction, and recovery from shame-based encounters.
In her clinical work she uses attachment, developmental, cognitive, somatic, and trauma-based theories. She believes certain life experiences are processed in different ways dependent on our age and stage of life, culture, trauma, life history, relational interactions, and contextual intersectionality, therefore it’s important to honor a person’s life experiences. Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
