She’s really understanding and actually tries to relate with me using her own personal life and experience too which makes me feel that I’m not alone with what I’m feeling. She also can easily pick up on body language and things that I haven’t even noticed and shows me situations from a different perspective. I can honestly say it’s only been a few weeks and I appreciate everything Jenny has talked to me about.

I am a down-to-earth, easy to talk to counselor who has experienced a lot in my life. I relate well, am not judgmental about anything, and will give my all to help a client grow mentally. I have worked with kids and adults alike, for over 18 years, in a variety of areas. If I feel that I cannot help you, I am honest and will help you find someone who can. Counseling and mental health is a passion of mine, more than it is a job. I have been in private practice for over 3 years, but before that I counseled in a school setting for ages 8 to 19. I also counseled the adults in the school environment, and offered assistance where needed. I believe the brain is a powerful tool, and most people do not believe they are in control of it. I use a lot of Cognitive Therapy and EMDR Therapy (along with a few other types of counseling) to assist the clients in gaining that control back and living life to their fullest. I have experience in dealing with anxiety, depression, hopelessness, loneliness, grief, marriage, stress, career confusion, burnout, trauma, and so many more issues going on in the world today.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
