Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

From the start, Dawn was an absolute joy to work with. She is very personable, takes the time to listen to make me feel heard, and makes sure that I understand that everything we experience is temporary. I have great hope that Dawn will help me become the best version of myself. It's almost as if having the big sister or best friend that you've always wanted to have that just tells it like it is!

My therapist is amazing. Speaking with her is like talking to a best friend but better. I can trust the guidance she gives because of spiritual wisdom and wisdom on how to cope with the things of life.

In just one session with Dawn, I feel seen, heard, understood, validated and genuinely cared about. She is down to earth, kind, warm and compassionate. But she’s also honest & up front, so I’m glad to know that she’s truthful rather than just coddling me. I’m glad that I gave BetterHelp a try, and I’m glad they assigned someone like Dawn to be my therapist!

Reviewed June 2024

Dawn is a very thoughtful and insightful therapist. She anticipates my needs and meets me where I am at mentally. She is a great listener and her level of expertise amazes me every time. Grieving the loss of my best friend has been one of the worst tragedies I have dealt with in my 38 years of living. She acknowledges and validates my feelings but also challenges my thought process in the most professional way. Dawn is not judgmental and she is very easy to talk to. I appreciate the homework assignments and journal entry feedback as well as her daily mental check-ins on me!

I have only had one session but she is a good listener and write down important information
