More about Bonnie

There comes a point in life when being strong stops feeling empowering and starts feeling lonely.

You may have reached that point—where you’ve been holding everything together for so long that you don’t remember what it feels like to be supported. If that’s where you are, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.

I have over 20 years of experience as a licensed therapist, and long before my professional work, I learned firsthand what it feels like to carry too much for too long. I understand how stress, responsibility, and life transitions can quietly build until you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who you are. That personal understanding is what led me to this work and continues to shape how I support my clients.

I work with adults experiencing:

Anxiety and chronic stress

Depression, emotional burnout, and low motivation

Grief and loss, including life transitions

Relationship challenges and communication difficulties

Low self-esteem and loss of identity

Caregiver stress and emotional exhaustion

Many of my clients feel emotionally drained, stuck, or unsure how they reached this point. Together, we focus on restoring clarity, confidence, and balance—so life feels more manageable and more like your own again.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs, your history, and what feels possible for you right now.

Clients often come to me carrying anxiety, depression, grief, relationship pain, burnout, or the quiet feeling of “I don’t recognize myself anymore.”

Some are grieving a loved one. Others are grieving the life they expected to have. Many are simply tired of being strong without support.

In therapy with me, you’ll find space to exhale. You don’t have to minimize what you’re feeling or pretend you’re okay. I offer a steady, supportive presence where we can gently explore what you’re carrying and work toward feeling more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself again.

Reaching out for help takes courage. We’ll move at your pace—with warmth, honesty, and compassion—without pressure to be perfect or strong.

I’m really glad you’re here.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
