Hi, welcome to Kim’s Expressive Arts Therapy Studio! I’m here to help you get through this tough time in your life. It’s a bold step to reach out for therapy, and it takes courage to put your trust in someone you haven’t met in person.
As a nationally certified expressive arts therapist (ATR) and also a LCPC (in Maine), I know how to support you with a variety of methods that go beyond verbal communication. For many people, it’s hard to put thoughts and emotions into words. Expressive arts therapy can be a vehicle for connecting your mind, heart, and body through images, sounds, and movement so that you can better understand yourself and come up with effective strategies for improving your life. You choose the approach that speaks to your heart and feels most comfortable.
Whether you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma, you deserve respect for the journey you’ve taken thus far and I’d like to make the healing process easier for you. My passion is to help you get through the hard times and rebuild your confidence, self-esteem, and sense of well-being. I respect your perspective, your timing, and your vision, and together, we embrace and celebrate your power to envision and set out upon the journey you choose. Our job is to come up with ways that feel right to you to help you feel calm, centered, and confident about your strengths, values, and goals. Your creativity and intuition guide you in choosing to make positive changes and finding your unique path.
If you’d like to know more about how we might work together and if we’re a good fit, please get in touch and we’ll explore what’s possible. I check my messages Monday through Friday––with the exception of holidays––and will get back to you on weekdays within 24 hours. I’m looking forward to being in touch!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
