I am licensed in Ohio with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence building. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Due to limitations of the platform, I do not provide diagnosis or evaluations, and I recommend seeking in-office services to complete those requests. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Heather has been a great therapist from my start with Better Help. She listens attentively and always offers a kind word before the end of our sessions. I'm very happy that I matched with her as my first therapist with Better Help!
I’ve been in therapy on and off since I was in high school. I really liked the first therapist I had as an adult but unfortunately, there was a very unethical situation that happened in 2021 and finding another in person therapist was a bit overwhelming. I started Better Help in 2023 and bounced through a few therapists because I usually prefer in person and it wasn’t really working for me. Heather changed all of that. Heather is very kind, understanding, and offers advice in a very respectful and positive way! She has helped me through an ever evolving complex situation and has taught me how to live with my anxiety as opposed to being dominated by it.
I feel like I am talking to a friend. Helps me understand why I am thinking the way I think and helping me overcome negative thoughts.
She's kind and very helpful in my time of need.
So far after two sessions I’m pleased with Heather. I feel comfortable talking with her and she’s easy going.
Very informational, understanding, patient , and very kind. Excited to start my therapy journey with her!
