I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and have been in practice since 2012, after earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical experience spans community mental health, medical settings, and private practice, where I’ve supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and relational. I draw from Somatic Experiencing, the Trauma Resiliency Model, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ecotherapy to help clients reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and the natural world. I believe that mind, body, spirit, and environment are deeply interconnected, and that healing happens through restoring balance across all of them.

I specialize in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, burnout, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also work through an anti-oppression and social justice lens, helping people heal from internalized oppression, racial trauma, perfectionism, and people-pleasing patterns that erode confidence and self-worth.

In our work together, we’ll focus on personal growth, emotional resilience, self-trust, and cultivating inner peace. Many of my clients seek to build confidence, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with their authentic selves so they can live with greater purpose, joy, and ease.

I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. Together, we’ll co-create a space for self-discovery, healing, and transformation.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
