I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have gambling/addictions disorders training from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). I have been in and around this field for 10+ years. I am able to connect with my clients. I offer a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere to process and talk freely. I have vast experience in PTSD and how it affects the brain and body. I am also well versed in addictions therapy including gambling addictions. These diagnoses also have a brain component in which I think is important to teach my clients. In addition, I have years of experience with mood and personality disorders and the treatments there are to help persons heal and cope with their reality(s). I diligently attend trainings and workshops to ensure that my level of treatment and interventions are evidence based and the best treatments available for persons. I would love to work with you! --Mimi Mohr LCSW, NCPG Candidate

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
