Louis is amazing! Helps put things into perspective

My troubles, like everyone, are complex and confusing. I needed a therapist and nothing local was working. So I signed up with BetterHelp. Very quickly I had a response and what Louis wrote to me was exactly what I needed. Someone that was ready and willing to hear and see me through all the complexities and family dynamics, and he has. Louis has kept me in focus on what could possibly be a solution to my burnt bridges and soured relationships. He has my attention as I am sure I have his. He also has my respect and love for not giving up. I can feel his frustration and heartbreak in my failed attempt to repair my relationship with my Son. Louis will bring another solution to the table again and again yet knows when it’s time for a breather to look at the big picture. I am 50. I have had a therapist in the past, looking back I could recognize when she was just feeding me crap I wanted to hear instead of what I needed to hear. This really isn’t a healthy path to a peaceful mind. Louis recognizes a real win and although I haven’t had one in a long time he is honest and frank about the bumps in the road. Louis has been very helpful in clarifying what I should work on in my life right now. He obviously has years of experience, and is thoughtful in his responses and easy to talk to.

I've shared this to some degree in my session reflections as well, but Louis is a great listener who weighs things before he responds. I like that he repeats enough information back to me to show that all my rambling has soaked in and he's processed it before commenting or making suggestions. He is also easy to talk to and has a very personable manner. It never feels like a cold "couch session" in a clinic; it's like talking to a good friend. Also, he makes suggestions and gives perspectives that are not biased or judgmental. That means a lot to me. I'm very happy that BetterHelp connected me with Louis.

Louis has a big heart and great wisdom for providing guidance and support. He shared valuable tools and resources with me to help me get my life back on track and overcome and addiction i was struggling with. Louis is a great God centered therapist.

I've only had a few sessions with Louis so far, but the impression he's left is one of genuine expertise, care and respect. In only a few sessions, he has not only shared eye opening thoughts but, through talking things through objectively with me, has also allowed me to clear some uncertainties up in my mind regarding whether or not cerained things I or others have done have been justified.
